Top notch Steve.

I had the same with my C5A MkI.

Except, I was the one who polished it to cover scratches, but then got the proper brushed finish, courtesy of a new case as part of some service and repair work at CW.

Today I need some sanity and calm amid the chaos:

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

Right up my alley indeed. :)
I love how it doesn't try to "pay homage to" (read: emulate) anything (yeah, looking at you, Steinhart!). It's just being itself, and proudly so.
I need a "lume shot" of this.

Great lume pics Ferg.

Shows off an element of the C600, that I didn't realise until I got one, which is that whilst the lume is primarily Tritium tubes, the inner section of the hours and minutes hands, plus the seconds hand all have regular lume on them.

Hence they are brighter in your top photo.

Neat. Image
