Very nice indeed. May I ask why it’s called a jag?
Also, scooter blue?

I'm afraid I wasn't around when these were produced so just picked up on the nicknames.
Kip (Forum Admin) will know for sure.
I think that the Scooter Blue has something to do with our resident forum member Scooter who may well have been involved in the design stage.
As far as the Red Jag is concerned, again not sure, but our resident forum Admin team would be able to answer.

EDIT: There you go - many thanks Ferg

Did they design the whole watch or just the dial and colours?

The brief for that FLE was to design dial and bezel colour for a standard C60 Trident Pro. Originally there was only to be one design, but the voting was so close that the decision was made to produce 50 of each design. As stated, the watches were designed by the forum members whose name they carry.

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

I loved the dial and hands on the 2013 FLE ^^^
Never fully jelled with the watch though and sold it to my work colleague.
If I had kept it I might have brushed the bezel as I thought the shiny bezel never worked with the watch.

Although not my cup of tea at all, how much would it cost to get it re-coated? Would CW do that? A third party maybe?

CW have run out of new / replacement cases and not do refurbishment work.

MotorCity WatchWorks have been used by forum members past and current, cost around USD 130 plus postage for Cerakote.
