Re: CWL of the day
Head to Spain in a few hours for a week of over indulgence and relaxation. As always I only ever take one watch on holiday and this year it’ll be my MK3 accompanying me.

One on the wrist and then another arrived!
Started the day with Big Blue and then Whitey arrived: both are "second time around" experiences which probably makes me a bit nuts!

^^^Thats nice Iain
I rather like the twin flag logo, gives the effect of the glass being engraved. Does it in real life ?

I can’t say I’ve ever looked at the watch in real life and had that impression, I can see what you mean by looking at some photos though.
The twin flags are a raised matt finish which is the same colour as the gloss dial. Most of the time I don’t really notice them, but in some light and at at certain angles they jump out and remind me they are there.
There was talk of some people preferring them in white, so they would be more noticeable. Personally I think this subtle effect really works well. It’s only when you live with a watch for a while that these little details start to become apparent.

Re: CWL of the day
Having had two C6 silicone straps break in two days, I’m keeping the remaining spare for my Kingfishers. I’ve dug this Hirsch performance strap from the watch box and am happy with the look. It’s a winner for now.
Trying not to buy any more watches...
