Good match up on the blue Dan.

Thanks Guy, thought I would give them a try as have seen a few people here (including yourself I think) mention them.

It wasn't me who posted about them initially, here on the forum, but I now have several of the elasticated NATOs from Georges straps.

I like them for being a proper NATO in style, allied to being extremely comfortable.

In the meantime we have #FliegerFriday #2 - C7 MkI 47AD #000.

Technically, the C7 MkI is from CW's Motorsports range but as this is a Military Special commissioned for 47 Air Despatch Squadron, Royal Logistic Corps who are part of the The Parachute Regiment, with members wearing the Red Beret, I think I'll stick with my categorisation of it being an Aviator.

Guy

PS> 47 AD RLC was originally formed in WW2 as 47 Sqn RASC (Royal Army Service Corp), which later became 47 AD Sqn RCT (Royal Corps of Transport) before becoming, now, 47 AD Sqn RLC. During my time in the Army I served in the Royal Corps of Transport, although not in 47 AD Sqn

Congratulations Guy !
I like that one a lot, the red/burgundy NATO suits it very well also.
Interesting to see the 2nd generation logo on it being a MK1 C7.

Cheers Ferg.

The strap colour is classed as Claret, from Page and Cooper.

Interesting point on the logo. Must have been produced at the time of the crossover. It would also be a bit of a squeeze to get the V_1 logo in.
