How are you getting along with the blue Makaira Patrick?Thegreyman wrote:Started of with the BB GMT today but now this
I had one (briefly) a few years ago. Loved it in the sunlight, the blue was fabulous. Indoors however, I found it quite hard to read, as what was a bright blue in good lighting, started to blend into the dial as the lighting darkened. It was a shame, as I rate the looks of the blue as one of the best of the Makairas, along with the pea-green of the Extreme.

Gary, yes you are quite right, the legibility in the evening does start to suffer a little bit, luckily I'm slightly short sighted but have good close vision. If this was my only watch it might get on my nerves eventually and become a problem but of course in rotation it won't bother me I don't think.gaf1958 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 11:15 pm How are you getting along with the blue Makaira Patrick?

One thing I noticed last night was that it does have semi-decent lume. I wasn't even sure if the hands/indices were lumed so I was pleasantly surprised

Jumping Hour for this morning.
We had a great night at our friend's wedding last night, lots of red wine and I also raided the sweet cart
