Just received two more watches from the sale this morning (see sale thread), but had to choose one for today... as it's sunny for the first time in ages, it had to be this one... the C65 Super Compressor... gorgeous watch, much more so than photos portray

I love that watch, in fact all the military series... As I found with my Cranwell, you'll likely wear that almost continuously

Well, until new sale watches arrive and then... instantly unfaithful

Thank you! I love your C65 and SuperCompressor you posted today. It's amazing what these pieces were selling for in the sale. Incredible quality even at full price, but at these sale prices...!
Best regards,
John

Thanks. I do love all the sale items I've picked up and the prices allowed me (and others) to get three rather than just one or two

Inspired by StrapMeister’s C9 AM GT LE, I’ve decided to go with my C65 AM GT LE on a rally strap for today. And I decided to split the difference between color and B&W with my pic.

From the just invented “classic powerplants” collection, the Valjoux 7750 and 5.7L Hemi V8 make a fine pair.

Chronographs and American muscle, yessir, I’m all in.

Image

Honorable mention to the more modern ETA 251.264 HAQ movement as well and its buddy, the equally more modern Twin Turbo Ecoboost V6.

(Yes, I really did this just to entertain you, my online watch buddies. Hopefully my neighbors didn’t see me... 😂)

Wearing with pride...

This watch was bought to mark the sad passing of a dear friend.
Today is their anniversary. I’ve put it on a beautiful, custom leather strap to mark the day.

Keep safe everyone,
