Taken the massively obnoxious step of matching my attire with my watch bezel. And then gone out for my government mandated exercise.

As today is my Navy birthday - joined up 40-years ago today - I think it a day for my CW C60 Trident Submariner. DBF.

Special watch for a special day.

It’s my Dad’s birthday so I met up with him for a coffee in the park. All social distancing rules were strictly adhered to, of course. Great to see him!

Keep safe everyone,

Many thanks. It was great to see him properly, rather than the limited contact we have had so far via text/video-call/Zoom etc. It still felt a bit odd in that we were both extremely conscious of keeping 2-3m apart, not touching the same stuff, every clearing of the throat being monitored... It’s just the “norm” that no one is used to?
Still, it felt right to take my best CW with me. Tried it on a single-pass NATO type strap for these warmer summer days. So comfortable, and the sand coloured stripe really suited the dial colour :-)

Keep safe everyone,

C
