Sneaked out for a walk in Greenwich park with my son, blue sky, c9 big blue had a rare outing too. Capturing the dial is a reflection challenge!

This was with me most of the day
Got a new, custom strap for it - Sedgwick bridle leather in a Whisky colour. Apparently this leather is now in extremely short supply (at least in the thinner weights suitable for watch straps) so I was lucky to get this one done. It is lined with suede and all hand sewn. Beautiful, rich colour

This one has taken a bit of a back seat recently, time to get to enjoy both it and its custom bund strap again

It is my preferred strap for this watch, partly for its looks and partly for its comfort and fit

Re: CWL of the day
My friendly local DPD chap arrived with this today. Only now had the chance to put it on.
What the image doesn’t show is the new hybrid strap. It’s a bit thinner and more flexible than the previous version. If though I’d probably chance the strap for a Hirsch performance one, but this strap is good.

I used to have that model, but could not get hold of that strap for love nor money. Nothing else I tried had the same look, so I sold the watch. Gutted!

Re: CWL of the day
Back to this wee beauty on its 1969 Swiss ammo pouch leather strap for a day of isolation. When you’re locked in at home it is good to have COSC certified timekeeping. Well, that is my excuse...
The book was also great. A friend suggested it so I read it with my kids. So many beautiful thoughts, ideas and images.
Stay safe, stay calm, stay healthy.
