V2 #tide strap
My complimentary v2 #tide strap upgrade has arrived. For any interested in the differences, the newer strap is more traditionally proportioned (longer hole end, shorter buckle end) and the hole end is rounded rather than pointed, with heat sealing around the tip.
Rich.

Thanks for the update. Will you wear it on a watch? I'd love to know if the fraying problem has gone now. Cheers (mine is on the way to me too).

In time, yes. The fraying on my current strap isn’t that bad at present, so I’ll wear that one into the ground first!albionphoto wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 11:25 am Thanks for the update. Re: V2 #tide strap
Thanks for the update Rich. The #2 version looks much, much better.
I hadn't heard of the length issue until now. Any possibility of some actual measurements of both straps, please.

Of course!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 1:47 pm Any possibility of some actual measurements of both straps, please.
The old strap measures 89 (102 w/ buckle) / 108mm.
The new strap measures 81 (94 w/ buckle) / 124mm and compares equally lengthwise to a blue Tiber I have to hand.

Re: V2 #tide strap
The original would be a good candidate for a Bader buckle, with those nearly equal lengths.

^^^Thanks Rich.
I'd quite like the #1 version with the longer buckle section, although the #2 version matches up with other CW straps.
Mind you, I don't have much call for 20mm straps these days.

Re: V2 #tide strap
Just got the notification that a V2 strap was delivered at my place. I had ordered the V1 last year. CW sent it out with no action or contact by me. Great customer service once again.
