Very true, it would. But I love...LOVE...that watch on the bracelet. The few times I’ve removed the bracelet for a strap, it hasn’t lasted. Plus, I’ve got a black embossed leather strap with a CW bader deployant for my C65 Trident Vintage to scratch that itch when necessary.

Ah so you’re all set up. Didn’t know you already had a bader clasp. In any case, I can’t wait to see yours and everyone’s pictures when the new straps arrive!

Smart move. Better to have it and maybe not wear it much than to want it and not have it. And the CW bracelets are so brilliant, it’s almost criminal not to have one.

That being said, I think the Dartmouth shines most on a good strap.

Ian (Tortoise) has posted pics of his SC on a BoR bracelet, and I’ve got to say, I think it’s the bee’s knees. I’d like to see how the mesh stacks up against it.

I glanced at a couple of the hybrid strips, but I think they are all the slightly thicker version 1 straps. There may have been a few version 2 straps early on, but I can't see any now. They all have HYB-01 in the product code, but I am not sure if that means gen 1.

I wondered the same @JAFO. The description for the v2 hybrids was always different (talked of reengineered versions). My guess is these are v1 straps

I've ordered a blue one, but if it's the v1 then it will have to go back, as I already have a blue v1... I did order a fair few others though, so one not working out isn't the end of the world
