C65 sandstorm chronometer - Update
I checked the search function and didn't find much about this watch (apart from a long chat about mac and cheese and rice pudding! ).
I wondered if anyone owns this watch and could share any pics? I find it impossible from the advertising shots to get a real idea of what the dial is like.
I want it to look like this, with contrast between the darker inner disk and the steel surrounding it:
...but some other pictures just make it look amorphous and bland.
Any pics in any lighting gratefully received

Re: C65 sandstorm chronometer - pics?
Thanks Richard - I hadn’t seen that article.
It kind of affirms the fact that in different lighting it becomes either a watch I would love or one that would make me go ‘meh’......
Maybe if I wore it, the moments when it catches the light just right would become sublime!

It’s interesting to see how any of the pictures show the lume, which suggests they have needed some strong light to make the dial pop a bit.
Do you get much strong natural light at your latitude?

Yeah, I found the lume quite distracting- I couldn’t tell what was lume and what was colour on the markers.
Strong natural light isn’t a big feature of life up here.... and I think the watch looks a bit death-star-y in low lighting.....

@Lindsey
I know you have been back for awhile now, but I just wanted to tell you how happy I am to have you back here and active again. You really do add a sparkle to this place. I am certain I am not the only one who missed you.

Clean and funky at the same time. I like it. Too bad I can't raid the vacation fund again this year

^^^ See, I think it’s funky too, and I like all the shapes and sizes. I really like dials with concentric circles - a kind of target effect, but I think that that last feature maybe gets lost under most light conditions
