C60 Blue - The Beast
After being let down in the last sale, I managed to get it in my basket, but later told out of stock. I have finally got my hands on The Beast.
Arrived yesterday.
It came on the blue/orange hybrid, 2nd Gen.
I’ve checked archives etc but cannot determine which bracelet will fit.
Will a standard Mk2 C60 Trident fit? I have a blue/blue Mk2 (with 9 o’clock logo) and would like to swap over to the hybrid.
As the Mk2 is not a QR bracelet I’m reluctant to remove as they’re such a pain to refit if it doesn’t fit.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
By 'The Beast' I presume you are talking about a C60 Trident Pro 600 Chronograph .
Bottom line on the bracelet is yes, the bracelet from a regular C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk2 will fit.
For reference, the all brushed bracelet with QR spring bars was only introduced with the C60 Mk3 Trident.

Good to know the bracelet will fit.
Now I just have to get it off the Blue 600 and onto the Beast.
As ever, you are on hand with great advice.
Many thanks, my friend

So it's a Bergeon 6825 spring bar pliers for about £150 or a chinese copy for about £20 - or even a chinese copy, with Bergeon tips!
Why are Bergeon so bl**dy expensive, and so bl**dy good!

If you want another bracelet, one has just popped up on eBay. I’m on my phone or if do a link. An auction with a 99p start.
Trying not to buy any more watches...
Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
Congrats. I was also able to grab one after looking for one for a few years. What a thing!!

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
Thanks. If I cannot get the bracelet off my blue/blue C60, I’ll keep an eye on it.
Strangely, I can always get the bracelets on easy enough. It’s getting the damn things off, I struggle with

Congrats on the chrono purchase Brian.
Re. the bracelet, I recalled a discussion that was previously had about removing CW bracelets.
Take a look at this thread and see if it offers any help

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
All done.
Bracelet on The Beast. Blue/Orange hybrid on the Blue/Blue C60.
My thanks to Ryan for his tips on removing the bracelet and,
Guy, for his advice regarding the compatibility of the bracelet.
I could go on, but it’ll start sounding like an Oscar acceptance speech.

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
My beastie just landed on the blue/orange hybrid strap. In my eyes its perfection. Although I must admit Guy's LE prototype has left me with serious envy (as his watches usually do!)
As I also own a Steinhart Apollon, the size is perfectly in my comfort zone. I mainly wear 42 / 44mm divers anyway.
Although im not a huge fan of the look of the hybrid strap, I must admit its very comfy and far more supple than the last 3 hybrid straps I got, which I have found to be very stiff and uncomfortable.
Does anyone know if theres been a change in the manufacturing process of the straps, or have I just been unlucky with my last few..?
In addition, im looking for a bracelet so the ebay heads up is appreciated, but has any of you strap guru's got a recommendation for these? Im looking at a few, but as always, I prefer to get real advice from trusted sources who have had the same thoughts.
Even the sun came out to see it. Which in Bolton is a miracle!!!!

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
The hybrid strap was updated last year with a v2. The new version is thinner and more comfortable (although I never had a problem with my V1)
Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
^^^ cheers KCM, thatll explain it..! Just checked my others and certainly a bit thinner but definitely a lot more comfy
Clearly I was asleep, drunk, or both when that got mentioned..!

Re: C60 Blue - The Beast
Its worth hanging in there for a CW bracelet, if you can.
The 'Beast' is a pretty top heavy watch and the fitted ends of the CW bracelet make a world of difference in holding it steady.

Thanks Guy. Its on my shopping list. Ill see how the ebay offerings look before I maybe post a wtb ad on here.
Im still really impressed with the v2 strap for comfort. Just wish it suited the watch just that bit better.
I wear my watches a little loose anyway so the feeling of it moving and being a little top heavy is standard for me.
Ill keep looking in to other straps makes and designs to possibly suit....... ideas on a postcard anyone....????!!!!
