Talk to me about the C60 Elite 1000 (and are there any wrist shots?).
Also, I'm curious to know about CW servicing and refinishing. Does CW refinish the titanium case? The C60 Elite 1000 is a mix of brushed and polished titanium. So, can it be refinished? It matters because the C60 Elite 1000 is only Grade 2 titanium and, therefore, likely to be a scratch-magnet.
And how likely do you think the C60 Elite 1000 is to appear in a sale? I'm weighing up the CW against a (used) Oris TT1 Titan.
What are your thoughts about the C60 Trident Elite generally? Versus the Oris TT1 titanium diver? The CW has a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel, but is the rest of the watch up to scratch vs. the Oris?
The only Trident Mk3 I've had was faulty, so I'm not the best to compare.
I do own and wear multiple Oris divers and they would be my choice, but mine are more recent models ie. Aquis, Prodiver, Bronze Chrono etc so can't give a direct review. all feel solid and reliable, although the Oris lugs are a pain to many.
Current collection incl Alpina, Breitling, Bulova, Citizen, Eterna, Hamilton, Oris, Rado, Raymond Weil, Rolex, Seiko, Tag, Tudor & Victorinox.
I may be in a minority, but I like the Oris lugs. It keeps the strap secure (unlike watches that use springbars). This security matters if to me because I use my dive watches in water frequently - I don't want my watch disappearing into the depths!

I’m wearing mine today. Oris are great but I find the C60 dimensions better for me. It’s also got a great spec list and bracelet for the money - especially if you can get one in the sale
Although mine is the original LE it’s virtually the same watch . The case is beautiful as you would expect and I really enjoy the watch. I have had no issues at all. Great watch. A few pics below

Oris are well liked, no doubt. Do bear in mind that thread a few years back will be compared to the C60 mk2. The current C60 (mk3) has seen a further uplift in CW’s quality too
I own Oris and CW. I can't say I like one more than the other. I would say buy the one you can't stop looking at. In the end, it needs to make you smile on your wrist.

I was going to plumb for the C60 but couldn't get over "Christopher Ward" written on the watch face. It's not the first time this writing has, in the end, stopped me from pulling the CW trigger. If it only had the double-flag logo (like the C7 Rapide), then I'd have bought it.
But the "Christopher Ward" writing spoiled my smile. Somehow, I feel it cheapens the face of the watch.
If Rolex wasn't a famous watch maker, and was just a chinese clone maker, Rolex would come in for loads of criticism. I don't mind the CW text. I think the font looks very modern, and goes very well with a well finished modern watch.
