Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
I almost got a C65 Trident Vintage but it went out of stock as I was competing payment details.
Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
Why does a 'nearly new' item cost more than the same 'watch with 40% off I wonder?
Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
There's a Mk2 Trident bronze that keeps reappearing at £850... WTF is going on with this

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
I guess it’s meant to be. I really don’t need more watches right now. I have wanted one for years though. Disappointing, but moving on.JasperCat wrote:That's such a great shame... that must have gone very quickly, I didn't even see it when I looked, only the NN in steel

Same mate.
Wanted one since I found CW.
But dont need one, having just bought something, and can neither justify it, nor really afford it at the mo...... Still wouldnt have stopped my buying it if I was quicker!

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
It's a prototype. One of several which used/trialled different patination techniques according to the blurb.
Doesn't really give it any real uniqueness though does it.
Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
This is listed as a prototype as well:
https://www.christopherward.com/sale/c6 ... K1-HK.html
I guess there's not much interest as it's similar to existing models.

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
Isn't that the price of a Mk3? Given that you'll get a discount on the new version, it seems an odd "Sale" choice. There's a Mk2 Trident bronze that keeps reappearing at £850...
Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
Yeah... It looks a lot like my naturally patinating C60 purchased last year. Maybe I should list mine on eBay as a prototype?StrappedUp wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 7:03 pmIt's a prototype. One of several which used/trialled different patination techniques according to the blurb.

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
Most ebay sellers go for "Rare" ... often quite amusing to see how many 'rare' things there are in a list.Maybe I should list mine on eBay as a prototype?

That example has the 'ghost logo' in white, making it somewhat unique.Bedrock wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 7:12 pmThis is listed as a prototype as well:

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
I wondered why some watches had no reduction in the "sale". They ought to flag them as "one-offs" and "prototypes". I just thought they were over priced errors and ignored them,
