Someone I follow on that there Twitter just got one of these. She also has a 675LT so that seems fair enough....
I didn’t know these existed and a forum search showed nothing. Apparently only 25 made? Not sure if that is correct.
Anyone know anything?
Mystery solved.
I’d be lying if I said I had one (a 675LT) parked outside the front of the house, of course I don’t, it’s December so it would be in the garage.
Seriously I don't have a 675LT, although the Tangerine Orange of my Yeti is only a few shades off a 675LT's Papaya, but I have a close friend who has. I had the opportunity of riding as a passenger around Silverstone Grand Prix circuit with him last year in damp conditions. The capabilities of the 675LT are absolutely awesome and my friend is actually quite nifty behind the wheel too (he'd comfortably hold his own in a Pro-Am GT3 race).
Moreover, he was responsible for organising the
675LT Owners Edition C7 Hornet COSC as a Bespoke project with CW.
The project started back in the spring of this year. Whilst CW initially suggested using a C60 Trident as a base model, my friend knew the C7 Hornet would be the perfect watch, having previously seen mine (when I owned one a couple of years ago now). Fortuitously, although the C7 Hornet is a Limited Edition, CW had enough pieces available to provide a bespoke batch of 25 pieces.
Design and production went very well allowing for the constraints imposed by COVID and the watches were dispatched out to their new owners a few days before Christmas.
As well as each watch having an engraved serial number of ##/25 the caseback also has the Chassis Number of the owners car engraved on it.
Enough rambling, here are some pictures of his, and his wife's watches (yes, she drives the 675LT too);-
Final comment, on the subject of depreciation; it’s like watches. It depends on the 'rareness and how they are used’. Special ones like the 675LT hold value.
