(Nearly) NEW C65 LE SH21 with pics
Hi everyone,
I've had my eye on the C65 LE with the SH21 movement for a while now but was never able to justify the extra spend this year.
With great fortune I was able to pick one up in the nearly new sale a week or so ago at at 31.5% discount and didn't hesitate to reach for the credit card. With COSC, limited edition, in-house movement and power reserve I think compared to the 'big' brands it's a fantastic price. I wonder what a Bremont would cost with a similar spec.
I'm not sure why I missed this watch when it first came out. My 10 year old C8 was a purchase as an IWC 'homage' and at the time I think it cost about 300GBP new. The C65 vintage diver - to me - is a better, cheaper, version of the Oris 65 that I like so much.
This C65 LE is the first CW I've bought on the strength of it being a CW design that I've not seen elsewhere.
Aaaaaanyway, pics....

Great acquisition - enjoy.
I too like these a lot but I feel the dial is a bit too similar to my existing C8PR, otherwise I too would be on the look out for one at an after market price.

The best looking C65 made in my opinion. Well done snagging it. Probably one of the only ‘modern’ CW’s that I would consider at the right price.

Great catch, IMO it’s definitely one of the best of the recent CWs. Looks great on the bracelet or on a variety of straps.

It's a great watch, mine is #002, I'm just surprised that it hasn't sold out yet. I wanted a blue faced CW and I nearly bought a Dartmouth but now I've got this I definately made the best choice. Lucky, for me, a fellow forum and CWE member sold it to me at NN price which made the decision even better!!

Re: (Nearly) NEW C65 LE SH21 with pics
I think that's one of the nicest CW's going, too. It all works well; the shade of blue dial, rhodium hands, sub dials and the date window. I particularly like the shape of the date window, as well as the font they use on the date wheel. Wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Re: (Nearly) NEW C65 LE SH21 with pics
I'm amazed it's still available given its very limited run. My only concern would be the movement funnily enough. These are very uncertain times, CW is a very young watch company -15yrs old? They seem to be expanding rapidly, which brings an element of exposure, certainly financially. If things went south, so to speak, which is not beyond the realms of possibility, how easy would it be to get parts for this movement and, more importantly, an outside service? BTW...let's hope this point is completely without foundation, but forewarned is forearmed.
