How is the research going?
We are about halfway through the time allowed for answering the Phase 1 questions of our Deep Dive into CWArchive Contest. The response has been very promising, and I am happy to report that most have found the correct answers on the first try.
Although a few of the questions are a bit tricky, we are looking at this as an open book test so we did not think it would be too difficult. Some seem to be struggling a bit, but I will remind you that the answers are all there.
What I am curious about is how many of you are working on it?
Remember that for each Phase answered correctly, you get a chance to win a free Watch!!

Re: How is the research going?
I was working on it very hard whilst 'at work' yesterday
Need to have another go though tomorrow night.
I do find it very interesting though which of course is the point of the exercise, finding out things I didn't know before and also lots I had forgotten !

Im not doing it.
Basically, I'm for anything that gets you through the night. Be it prayer, tranquilizers or a bottle of Jack Daniels, Frank Sinatra

I have just started. Very interesting read, too. Having followed the brand since 2008 it has certainly been an interesting journey.

Re: How is the research going?
It is worth noting that the Archive has a good Search facility, just as the Forum does.
Also, if you navigate to a specific Range of watches, you will see a button that says More Information. Clicking this will bring up a more detailed description of the range.

Re: How is the research going?
I spent all day Saturday on it. Having only recently come back to the brand after a 10 year absence, I had missed quite a bit. Some of the questions took a solid bit of research. I had fun with it though! Can’t wait for the next set of questions.

Re: How is the research going?
Spent a few hours today working through the archives. Still at least a couple of questions that I am struggling with. Been very interesting reading for a newcomer. Very enjoyable too

Re: How is the research going?
Good to know, thanks.
As well as promoting knowledge, an important aim was getting members to understand how to find information.
A forum is all about discussion so questions are welcome, but using the forum search and the Archive the answers to purely factual questions can often be found more quickly by searching.

Challenging, devious but enjoyable. I cracked them.

Re: How is the research going?
A very interesting (and motivating!) method to encourage a browse through the archives, eventually found the answers.....
Looking forward to the next round of questions!
