Depends what you want the watch to look like after you have removed the PVD. If the case has sharp lines you want to keep sharp, then by hand with the most gentle abrasive that works, be it wire brush or nylon or sandpaper.

Otherwise, a fine grit or sandblasting should have it off in no time.

Or, find a non-coated version of the watch and buy that instead!

Jay at Motor City Watch Works has done a couple for me. However, he’s not taking on work just now but I assume he will be at some point in the future. An example is below.

Yeah checked yours out the other day :thumbup: but I believe he’s in the USA? would really like to find some one in th UK, that’s if I buy the watch :lol:

He’s in the USA. Apart from shipping times that has not been an issue. If you do find someone in the UK though, let me know. :thumbup:

Or one can simply go the well worn route on a C600 IPK I owned for a while.

The PVD was not damaged merely well worn, by a previous owner, presumably by a shirt or jacket sleeve/cuff.

Just missed out by a few quid on a C600IPK on eBay never mind I’ll keep looking :D

My interest has been peaked, want to do an Alex on a C600IPK, please see WTB corner :D
