I just brought one into the fold!

Post by jkbarnes »

Sent my best friend a link to a NN 38mm C60 Trident in blue, and he made the leap! It’s an early 50th birthday gift for himself. This will actually be his second purchase. He bought a NN Mk 2 Trident for his son for graduation in 2019 after I introduced him to CW.

Now to get him to join the forum and start posting!

Top enabling Andrew. You need to get a commission deal with CW :)

That is already in place, Patrick. Anyone who introduces a friend gets privileged access to the Moderators’ Executive Washroom** (of which I am sure you have heard). The most recently appointed moderator is generally designated as Keeper of the Keys, so Welshlad will be in touch with you shortly.

** Ts & Cs: Access to the washroom is on alternate Fridays between the hours of 0700 and 0800 GMT, during any months containing the letter W (in English).

Seriously, Andrew, well done. There is nothing better than word-of-mouth and personal recommendation, especially for a small company that operates online.

I was told there’s a referral punch card? And after five punches I get a watch of my choice. Pretty sure I read that somewhere on the CW website.

I think there are also some "strange" rituals to get through as well

I think this one is common knowledge, but the rest are classified, so please be careful. :silent:

My buddy’s watch arrived yesterday - 38mm blue C60 Trident on bracelet. I’m going to try to convince him to join the forum and share some pics.

It’s an early 50th birthday gift from his wife. She’s letting him “test it out” on his wrist today, then back in the box until his birthday....in JANUARY! That wait is going to be brutal!

As I mentioned earlier, he got his son a mk 2 Trident as a graduation gift a year ago. His son left that one at home while he went off to a service academy, so I’m hoping To get some side by side comparison pics.

Hope he enjoys it! I was on the fence about getting my first Christopher Ward, but I took the plunge on a sale for the C65 Hand Wound Diver. I love it and haven't looked back since, but I think I'm getting the itch for a C60 Trident Pro now. Time to wait for the sales again.

It’s a lovely watch. Such a pity Orpheus didn’t have one. :D
