First Christopher Ward

Post by zqt3 »

I recently got into watch collecting, and heard about Christopher Ward. This was last Wednesday, the day before the sale started. I ended up getting this one for half-off and couldn’t be happier.

Is that the blue dial or the black dial? It’s hard to tell. Both are fantastic!

Damn good looking, just wish there was a little more cohesion on design of the hands with the GMT

Now that is a lovely looking watch. I do love the plain steel GMT bezel. Dare I say looks a bit like the Explorer 2
C1 - Bel Canto, Grand Malvern 5 Day
C5 - FLE
C60 - Concept
C65 - Cranwell, Super Compressor
C9 - 5 Day Small Seconds
Omega - Aqua Terra, SMP Nekton
Breitling - SuperOcean
Rolex - Air King

That was exactly my thought when the C65 GMT was first released. Especially with the black dial and orange GMT hand....definite nods to an early reference Explorer 2.

The hands don't do it for me personally, but it's undeniably a beauty.
You've done well, and half off, you've done amazingly well.
Many would say it's the perfect watch.

I'm going to sell a few of my watches here (when I have enough posts that is!) and get the C65 GMT you have a nice watch. Enjoy.
