I missed the frenzy but it looks like there were some splendid deals there. Had I been able to dive in, I might have forgotten my feelings about the logo placement and picked up one of the 5.95 thick cased dress watches. Actually, make that I would have, or at least tried!
Trust you nabbed one....if not they are back in the Last Chance portion of the sale that Guy noted above!
Oh that is a bother! I missed the steel cased versions first time around but looked closely at the gold-plated versions closely but gave them a pass. I decided to engage in retail therapy elsewhere by picking up some hand-built wheels for my mountain bike. Thank you for the heads-up anyway.

Well, I got the dreaded email, the C7 I ordered in the July sale was oversold and is no longer available, and I can pick any regular, non-LE watch to apply the 50% discount to.
I'm thinking I want the C1 Morgan Aero 8.. thoughts?

It’s a really good offer, though I think you should definitely go with the one that appeals to you most, irrespective of original RRP. Don’t just buy a more expensive watch because it’s 50% off. Does that make sense?

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

Classy way of handling an unfortunate situation and one that has turned into a very nice win for you!

Possible I may move on my C7....if i do i'll reach out via PM as we're both in Canada.
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

I love that watch and would be all over it at half price....but it is your decision.

It was really nice of them to make the offer. My collection consists mostly of Motorsport and C65 watches, and I have always wanted a watch with a two-subdial SH21 movement. The C65 SH21 is a LE so it wouldn’t qualify for the offer. And the C8’s are much to big for my wrists. So it seemed like the Aero 8 is the best option for me. Going to hit the button!

I'm considering this watch. I have not seen this combination listed before. The page doesn't state the colour of the case ring; whether it is blue, black, or some other colour.

I sent an e-mail to CWL, asking them this question. If the ring is blue then I'll be definitely pulling the trigger.
I'm not sure if you got a reply or if you're even still interested but the case ring is red. It came as quite a surprise to me when I unpacked the watch but I really like it.

Usually January and July, with 15% vouchers showing up every so often in between.

I suspect at least three: I accidentally added two to my basket when I bought that one and there was still on in the site when I’d completed the purchase.

Would you like to corner the market and buy a second one?
