"Spirit of the Time" - FINAL VOTE

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

Well, the Admin Team has cogitated, deliberated and digested, and we have come up with a final six.

There were some outstanding images and, whilst we took technical merit into consideration, we tried to focus on those that gave the watches a meaningful context. Not an easy task, and we had a few interesting discussions. You might very well have other views, but that's the subjective nature of the beast.

This poll will run for seven days, finishing next Saturday, 11th July. You may vote for up to THREE images.

Thanks to all who participated.

1. Naturally patinated.

Excellent selection of finalists based on the nature of the competition. It will be tough to select just three.

Congrats to the winner although I didn't vote for it - 'Naturally Patinated', for me, portrayed the essence of the watch the best so glad to see Ian Mc get in the top 3  Some great pics, I just wish I had the skills to compete - well done all

I am truly surprised at my picture even getting in the top 6, never mind finishing third.
I didn't plan the pic, just had an idea and went for it.
Congrats to the other winners, and many thanks for those who took the time to submit votes.
Thank you to admin for running this little fun comp, and to CW for supplying the prizes.

Prizes were mailed this morning. I have no idea how long the ones to the U.S. will take.
