Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
Yep spotted it and it's interesting as CW indicated they were moving away from quartz.
Maybe wrong and cynical but possibly a bit of a bitsa to use up stock components (apart from dial). Im also struggling to justify £500 on a quartz when so many good watches out there from majors and micros.
All that said, i find it quite attractive apart from the cut off numbers to accommodate the sub dials, cant see past this

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
Strangely I find this quite attractive. Yes it’s a quartz but a good one and 10 seconds a year accuracy plus 150m wr in a chrono makes ita very useable grab and go

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
They do indicate in the copy that this will be their last quartz watch.
I quite like it! Why a limited edition though? Clearing out parts stock, as some indicated? Or maybe testing the waters, with a similar styled standard run coming later (but perhaps with a mechanical movement), like they sort of did with the titanium C60 Elite?

I quite like it too, don't mind the quartz too much, might need to move something / others on though.

I like it. Will it really have a 28,000 bph sweep. If so I'll find it hard to resist.

It’s a bit too busy for me, so no thanks. I’m surprised to see a quartz released

Yes, I'm surprised to see another quartz after everything that's been said at the GTGs. But then again, what a quartz! COSC HAQ and more jewels than the majority of the three-hander mechanicals! Well cool!

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
It is a decent looking watch and good size (47mm L2L). If it is the last quartz CW then a good way to go out on a high.

Lug to lug distance is something I've never considered before reading on this site but might explain why I don't get on with some watches. Actually measured my wrist today... 6 inches.... So rather small!
I'm finding the recently acquired trident 300 a bit big and heavy...

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
I wonder, is that red/black hybrid strap the new thinner revision or the older thicker one?

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
I have that question too. I assume it is supposed to emulate the red line on a tachometer. It's the one feature I find questionable.

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
I think the red sections are likely supposed to emulate red line on automotive dials which is also cool if you are a petrol head.
Bit busy and maybe would have worked better for me as a bicompax (2 sub dial) design.
Im still a bit befuddled by it!

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition
Superb movement. The same one was used for the C70 Chronometers.
