At last - the ‘right’ strap for my C1000

Post by Clach77 »

I’ve had a C1000 for a long time and, once I got used to no date or running second hand, I love the watch. However, I’ve always struggled to find a strap I like. I think the issue for me is the 20mm lugs for quite a deep 42mm watch. Even if it does wear small being black. I thought I’d found the ideal strap in a di-modell aviator strap. However, the lugs and the strap didn’t fit.

So I’ve tried another di-modell model and I’m happy with this one.

What I like is that it doesn’t taper, so feels better with the watch.

Complements the watch nicely and at a very reasonable price! Lovely watch.

Looks good Alex.

Presumably it was the notch on the Dimodell Pilot brown strap that didn't work. I've got a few of this type of strap and find they work well on the C4/C40/C6/C60 case but not others.

As to the perfect strap for the Typhoon, after trying a variety, my choice has come around to a CW Vintage Oak in Olive Green (except its more brown).
