4 days with the Sapphire

It’s been 4 days and it hasn’t left my wrist.
In person, the dial, and whole watch for that matter, is excellent. The dial brings a superb depth and detail to the face.
It’s really hard to capture the lustre and detail in pic but here’s a few anyway
Cheers

Glad to see some real world pictures of this and it's looking really good.

Thank you for sharing, the watch looks amazing. I'm secretly hoping CW is working on a blue PVD model of this watch, or a GMT function, or dare we dream for both.

Thank you for sharing. I am on the fence on this one. If I could justify it I would definitely purchase it. I am in the midst of purchasing a watch for my 50th birthday in June and this one is on the list. My hesitation is the 40mm size. I have 7.5 inch wrists and that size tends to look small on me. I prefer 41 or 43mm. How does it wear on your wrist? I try not to be overly critical of measurement on paper but pay more attention to how it wears...

Thanks

I do very much like the sapphire dial, as Toph said, adding depth and detail to the face.

I also really like the bezel. The three finishes on it makes it stand out. It would be great if CW did the same on some future models.

I too am wondering if CW will produce a 42mm variant.

My wrist is a fraction just under 7 and it wears well. I’m fortunate I can wear a variety of sizes. Anything above 7.25 it may start too look small, but again that depends on personal preference
Cheers

Looks great. Great post. Call me a big fan. As it stands I feel I'd have to flip my C65 hand-winder to justify it and I like it so much it certainly doesn't need flipping. Wrist check "oh there it is!".
Perhaps with time and improved global circumstances I will be more comfortable with a pair of blue CW "sporty-divers". :)

It must of been quite hard getting the watch on that gorilla :D

Great to see some real world photos of the dial. For me it is a really good compromise between a regular dial and a full skeleton (which I have never really been sold on).

I just got this one in the other day, it’s a fantastic watch for my 6.75” wrists, and my first actual diver style watch.
The lume is ok, it’s bright initially but tends to fade out very quickly.
