Ouch, but the watch might have gone missing when the package was with either RM or USPS. Might it not?

Pictures show how it arrived at CW. I doubt this happened in the US as I imagine they wouldn't forward a package like this overseas. Tracking info shows it was held in the UK for 12 days without moving at all.

My C65 Anthropocene recently went missing in transit in the UK postal system when it was on its way back to CW. If you see one on a black/orange hybrid strap for sale from a dodgy seller, that may be the one.
Not so good Frank. I hope your insurance coverage will recompense the full value of the watch.

I filed a claim with USPS but takes 32 business days for investigation to complete. With all the things that are going in the world, it may even be longer so need to have patience.

I returned some watch straps a month before this using regular first-class mail and it arrived at CW in 5 days without any problems.

Sorry for derailing the thread, perhaps a mod can move this discussion to a new thread.

That's the one. Time to get the police and eBay involved.

eBay won't be overly interested, but Action Fraud and the police (your local police) should be.
Should be, but won't be. Though I sincerely hope to be proved wrong.

Listing finished last night.

Zero feedback bidder won with £1000 bid. Previous high bid was £999

Very interesting, I wonder if he pulled it himself!!
