Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
Ok, not my most incisive comment but 'why oh why not 42mm?'.
On a more serious note, think its great that CW continue to push their design in new directions rather than just playing safe. I think the Sapphire looks interesting visually and technically!

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
I'm with you Stephen. I know the trend is for smaller watches, and, at least this isn't 38mm. All of the watches I own and wear are 40mm or larger. I think I'd have to see this on the wrist to make sure that 40mm works for me. Sometimes it does, mostly it doesn't. If the bezel makes this weaar bigger it may be a real hit for me too.

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
When I spoke to Mike France and Adrian Buchman in November they were very proud of the technical achievements CW had made with the sapphire dials. CW are a leader in this field. I really like the design, Now I just have to figure out what to sell...

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
I've decided I like the unique design... proud of CW for designing and bringing the C60 Sapphire to production!
However like others have noted, 40mm is too small for my wrist and liking. Excited to see pictures of it on a forum member's wrist in CWL of the Day later in May!!

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
Impressive, but not quite what I was looking for. I do like the case back but have reservations about looking at the business end of a SW200 complete with date wheel whenever I want to see the time. I would have preferred the dial with the twin flags all over it.
40mm is a great size for me, though, and I would love to see that case size at some point in the blue PVD hinted at last year.

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
Looks great and definitely a more reasonable price than I expected, especially with a Summer Code applied. Looks the business on the bracelet.
However I’m inclined to agree about date wheel on show. For me, it makes dial look a bit busy. But I do like the small centre circle of movement on show, because I’m not a big fan of dials showing movement at the front. (For the life of me, I cannot remember the technical term). This strikes a nice balance.
I will reserve judgement on visible date wheel until I see one on a wrist, might not be so obvious.
But overall, congratulations CW. Nice job.

Although looks like they have forgotten to upload the bracelet option to the website.

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
Not sure I understand, bracelet option was there when I looked and also there now. That’s why I said it looks the business on a bracelet at 7.28!!

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
When I posted initially at silly o'clock last night, although there was a picture on bracelet, the version was not listed.
My intention was to list the price as 'from £795 on hybrid' but in my haste to finish the post and get off to bed; I didn't.
