There are 4 screws holding down the dial. If those screws were not meticulously aligned it would send my OCD into overdrive.

Thats a good point, Scooter. I've just looked at the pics on the website and they are not lined up at all on the pics on there so the chances of them being lined up on a production model are probably slim to zero, unfortunately

I fear that you are both most likely right.

Pity.

Quite why these can't be aligned with each other is another story (if the male and female parts of the screw thread are the same as each other, then that should be it, surely?).

After all, on the CW TV Advert, it does make a very strong point that the sapphire is PRECISELY machined to within .6mm of it's life. You would have thought with that level of precision, and the emphasis on getting the Swiss to be more Swiss, that they could get four screws to line up the same!

Clearly not, and annoyingly not - as my OCD would also never let this lie! So after consideration, it's a no from me too.

I think to be honest, looking at their photos the screws are not lined up but instead they make a pattern that will look right, '/' and '\' representing the top of the screws, the pattern is (but more of an angle on each screw):

To be honest, I don't think screw alignment would even register with me!

Is there any promo code that might be available? 100SUN20 doesn’t seem to work.

Just looking to save a few bucks LOL

100SUN20 is for the UK (.co.uk) website.

Guessing you're in the USA, try 125SUN20 for $125 off.

Always worth comparing the net price to you between the sites, due to fluctuations in exchange rates.

Looks very impressive to me. Great stuff.

I'm not too fussed about misaligned screws.

After all, some might argue the logo is misaligned.

Sadly the pictures on the website don''t quite confirm that, I'm with Scooter, they need to be aligned for me as well.

Whilst I don't think I will ever buy one for myself I suspect that the person I am currently looking to buy a watch for would like this, if only it was in a smaller (ladies) size. The guide is a diver style, preferable mechanical with a display back, maybe time for CW to dip their tow into the ladies range again?

Agreed, the pictures on the website show them all over the place. To be honest, until Scooter mentioned it, I hadn’t even noticed it. For me it’s one of those where I’d have to have it in my hands to see if it bothered me and hope that it’s not one of those things that ‘once seen, you can’t unsee’. Anyone want to buy a C65 Classic and/or a C7 Auto Chrono (both on bracelet) so I can fund one to look at? :D

For me I would be worried if all the screw heads did line up; that they would not have been torqued up to the correct level (either too little or too much) or . . .
.
. . . that they had been made with a degree of precision engineering way beyond the requirements at the price point of the watch.
