Definitely.

There's no way I could write a book, unlike Steve.

Engineers actually build stuff, whereas poets may just talk about doing it.

Not quite. Poets write about other people doing it. :D

I sincerely hope that the 3o'clock markers are aligned better on the production models than the one on the front of Loupe :silent:

That makes me feel so much better.

I've even upset my best friend's wife when I line things up in her house.

When we're out having a coffee she deliberately moves my mobile off kilter knowing it will wind me up.

What a bitch!

Sorry I'll shut up now.

PS It still irritates me that my vape stick is slightly out of line in that photograph.

I'm in a similar boat, good Sir, although not quite to the extent of you I feel.

Always thought of it as Military Precision; mugs in the cupboard have to be just so, all handles pointing the same was. Tins/Jars with labels facing forward.

Things around the house have to be in the right place and lined up. Etc.

It's just life.

These OCD comments are exactly my view of the 9 o'clock logo (and other things in life).

The alignment of the screws on the AP are perfect for that watch as they follow the shape of the bezel and are appropriate for that quantity of screws.

The Sapphire screws aren't and for the quantity of them they should line up either vertically or, probably better, horizontally and maybe even be blued so they disappear a little more. Maybe they won't look so bad in real life.

Hello all,

I hope you’re all staying safe

Am I the only one that thinks it would have been more “unsurprisingly Swiss” if they have put a COSC certificate with it, and the word “chronometer” on the dial...

It might be vanity, but I think I’d have pulled the trigger if that was the case (and would have been happy to have paid another £100) - because if I’m not mistaken it’s the same movement in the Sapphire as the C60 Ombre?

Anyone else feel the same?

I am not quite sure what to put here, my name is my handle :problem:

I'm lucky enough to not be too OCD! But have to admit, like you, I haven't been able to keep any CW watches with the logo at 9 o'clock! And also if the screws weren't in line or in a suitable pattern I'd not like that too. This does make me realise why some watch collectors do go on to AP, Rolex, Omega, PP etc!

As has been mentioned, the devices on the AP are not screws, but hexagonal bolts. You wouldn’t have much success trying to torque those up from above with a screwdriver.

I was aware that the AP has bolts not screws and apologise for calling them the latter.

That said AP still manage to get the bolts/thingamabobs perfectly aligned in every watch that I have seen pictures of and that was my point.

Luckily for 99.99% of purchasers they won't give a monkey's fiddle one way or another which is great news for CW.

All the reviews I've read talk about the "blue" sapphire crystal dial. The article in the latest Loupe say it's a two piece dial - clear sapphire and blue plastic to give it the colour. A sandwich in effect. Was keen on this watch until I read that.

Screws or bolts the emphasis is on OCD and the pattern created by the AP but not on the Sapphire.

Fair point, Mick. We all see things in different ways. For some people seeing things out of order or alignment bothers them. As I said above, I really wouldn’t notice. The things that jump out at me are infelicities of spelling, grammar and usage – again, to do with my personal education, training and profession. No offence intended.
