I'm quite curious to hear from those who have had experience with more than one colour variant of these pieces.
Maybe you own more than one... Which one gets the most wrist time and why?
Or perhaps you got one and then later on decided to sell/trade for a different colour... Why?
So far the black colour seems to be the most popular.. So was also wondering why that might be (perhaps the most traditional colour for a diver?).

My wrist is circa 7 inches and these are 42mm c60 and 41mmc65. It really depends what clothes I’m wearing

Re: C60 Mk3 Red vs. Black vs. Blue
I have a black 40mm mk3 trident and recently bought a nearly new blue 40mm GMT in the clearance sale. The blue stayed for about 48 hours and the went back as a 60/60 return.
Why? The black with the polished face just seemed to have more depth to it and just looked a better watch. I realised that every time i went to the watch box, I was probably always going to choose the black over the blue. It’s a very personal thing but to me the black just looks better and this isn’t something that comes across well in pictures, you have to see them to appreciate the difference.
Can’t comment on the red bezel as I’ve not seem one.

Nah I can see what you're on about. The blue is never going to be as versatile as the black, and even from the pictures the black looks better to me than the blue. Perhaps if it was a petrol or navy blue that might change things though.iain wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 6:18 pm I have a black 40mm mk3 trident and recently bought a nearly new blue 40mm GMT in the clearance sale. My dilemma is just whether the red bezel will perhaps make it look a bit too sporty.

Re: C60 Mk3 Red vs. Black vs. Blue
I remember in your review you said you wanted to see the 40mm in other colors. But from looking at pictures online the black version has that Sub-like handsomeness that the blue version doesn't. It's the clear star of the show. I think the blue is... not blue enough. It's a dark navy that disappears in shadows so everytime I see it I wonder why not just go black? I think you nailed it though: the black has more depth.iain wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 6:18 pmWhy? The black with the polished face just seemed to have more depth to it and just looked a better watch. The Mk 1 was all about the black. The Mk 2 then had every color over the rainbow. But with the Mk 3 the black is king again.

I like the blue on the bronze trident, the Bronze really sets it off, but for my gmt, black is where it's at
Re: C60 Mk3 Red vs. Black vs. Blue
I have the C60 with the Red Bezel and find it looks as brilliant with a short sleeved shirt as it does wearing it with a suit. Great call on ordering the almost extinct Red Bezel !!Theo_s wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 6:59 pm Nah I can see what you're on about.
