Actually I think that's very competitive pricing for titanium watch and bracelet, COSC, 1000m with display back.
Agreed, although I feel that CW is moving more toward "competitive" pricing and sailing away from outright bargains.

Lovely looking watches though.

Cracking, especially the black version. Similar brushed bezel finish to that on the C60 Ombre. Expensive compared to some CWs, but fantastic value for its spec.

I sort of like the brushed ceramic bezel on the black. Not sure I’ve seen that execution on on ceramic insert before.
Brushed / matt finished on the ceramic bezel was used by CW on the C60 Trident Pro 600 (MkII) Chrono.

Yes, the white stripe black dial is standout for me. I also wonder if the titanium case might go well for a new Trident Pro Chrono? Big Blue, lovely as it was, was notably a heavyweight. That said I'm not sure of my position on titanium cases per se, the ones I've tried in the past were just too light and diminished the experience for me leaving me wondering if I'd got a parnis on my wrist.

What's the weight of this one again? 77g? Pass me the kitchen scales.... ah right, full size quartz Seamaster, the one I don't wear very much.

I’m wondering if at 15mm thick and so about 2mm thicker than the equivalent Trident it might be a bit too chunky for me. I’d love to see one for real or comparison wrist shots. It feels like a great shot at giving watches like the Pelagos a run for the money.

I like the black version and the matte bezel. I agree with someone's comment above re: pairing it with a black strap with red. Would really bring it home imo.

It does look excellent, would be good to try on at the next gtg if I make it.

Bearing in mind that it is less expensive than say a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Quartz (£1,395 with an aluminium bezel) or an Oris Aquis, then it looks exceptionally good value considering the spec.

Having time to have a more considered look at the site, I noticed this:

But that's not all: marking the first time a Trident has featured an exhibition caseback - a feat achieved by a crystal 3.4mm-thick - the C60 Elite 1000 comes complete with our 'twin flags' engraved on its rotor. Who says you can't admire the engineering inside a dive watch?

I’ve a C60 Trident Apex that would beg to differ. :D
Trying not to buy any more watches...

... and selling a Scooter FLE.

A great looking release, especially the brushed black bezel. As others have said, I think it represents fair value for the money. I do wonder though, if at this price CW are doing themselves a disservice by not using the SH21 movement? I don't know if that decision is financial, maybe trying to keep the watch under the 1500GBP barrier, or if it was a thickness issue. Either way, it's a stunner, at a good price, and should sell well.

I'd definitely take this over an Aquis.

I’d love a 40mm version.
Considering the popularity of the standard MK3 in 40mm size, I am surprised it is not listed as an option?
Hopefully it will be considered for future release.

The black brushed bezel is a nice touch in my opinion, shiny ceramic can sometimes be just a bit too shiny.

With this spec and a ti bracelet I’d guess it’s competitively priced. However, notwithstanding the already very nice CW bracelet I’d also now be expecting screwed links (and half links...) at this price level.
