Love it !!! Definitely right strap for it.
That strap really works Ferg, I probably wouldn't have picked it from the CW pic but from yours it really lifts the watch!

For old model watches I can't help but think NN clearance looks expensive.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

I guess they arent as attractive a bargain as current models. However, ive been looking for a White/Red 43mm for ages and just about given up, was considering using the budget (+ a bit) for this NN as a white faced consolation.

I don't know if you specifically want a MK2/wave dial/red highlights etc. but for that money, you could get the MK3 white for 595 when the next code arrives.
The latest iteration is definitely a few notches up.

Ignore me if you've previously stated you're after a MK2.

TBH im being impatient, I really want a white/red but realised after CW stopped production. I should hang on for a used 1 to come up somewhere..
Re the COSC im a sucker for a red 2nd hand and accents 😁.Im also undecided if I prefer the character of onion handset to the sharp bauhaus pointer on the Mk3.

Overall I like the Mk2 but appreciate the mk3 is a better watch. For a straight black bezel/white dial id go Mk3.

Judging by my Abyss, I'd say the Mk 3 is worth going for

Looking at the details of the strap in the link you posted, it is described as "Premium quality canvas webbing strap with Christopher".

Whilst not the 'Vintage' strap I was thinking of nevertheless, being canvas, you should expect some wear / ageing over time.

However, relooking at your photo and from your description, it sounds that you have not got a new strap; hopefully CW will replace this for you.

Sent a chaser email last night and had an email response today -
"I do apologise but as this is a sale item, this is a nearly new condition which is stated on the website to have some marks on it"

Er, it wasn't a nearly new item... :?

Quick phone call and all resolved with free strap incoming next week

At least then I can make a proper decision if I want to keep it as so far its been in the box since Monday

Finally got there in the end - Thanks for all your comments / replies

Sure gotta be quick :) Earlier I added a C65 Trident Diver Black in half price more or less the moment it appeared and still lost out whilst in the checkout process! Managed to grab a NN C60 Steel Ombre later though

So I went to buy a watch, and the man in the shop said "Analogue." I said "No, just a watch."
