New Moonglow today (nice) -- is there an official set of instructions (video?) on how to adjust the Milanese strap - so I don't just poke around with sharp pointing things and scratch it!?

Seems not. They all seem to refer to a different kind than the one used by CW - this has links that need removing I think, by the look of it. As I said, I can hack around but thought CW might have a how-to guide or reference.

I'm fairly sure the CW mesh is produced by Staib - if that helps.

If it is type with links attached to the clasp (for adjustment) I guess they work in the same way as standard bracelet links - although I'm not sure if they use push pins or screw-in pins...

^^^^ Yep they are Staib (or certainly were when CW first started using them). Split push pins IIRC, with an arrow indicating the direction to push in.

Apologies, I see it is detachable links either side of the clasp and not a flip clasp/move up and down milanese

Interestingly, A Blog to Watch mentioned that even with all the links removed, it was still too big for his 6.5" wrist :?

Has anyone ever seen any help about this? I bought a new watch and milanese bracelet and I am looking for help on how to adjust it smaller without doing damage to the links.

Welcome to the forum.

Is this a Staib style Mesh bracelet on a CW watch?

If so, there are simple split pins that need to be pushed out in the direction of the arrow (marked on the underside of the link) with a suitable tool, in the direction of the arrow.

Remember to keep the pin aligned so you can put it back in the reverse direction, as there is a bulge at the tip that needs to go in last.

Ahh cool so yeah that is a standard pinning for a bracelet. That I can handle. Thanks.
