I ordered mine w/ the leather strap..have to admit, though, yours looks absolutely stellar on a bracelet..btw, many of us appreciate the efforts of you & others to mention to CW to 'move things along'...thanx again!!..downer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:49 pmThanks everyone.
Thanks. The watch feels pretty well proportioned on the wrist and, as you say, the case height (13.4mm) is well disguised by the combination of case shape, polishing and of course the box crystal.albionphoto wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 5:58 pmVery nice Richard. The pictures hide the height of the SH21 (as does the light-catcher case) and, as a whole piece, it's a lovely piece. Enjoy it (I'm sure you will).
Sorry to hear you are still waiting for yours. We (the mods) spent a long time over the last couple of days going through the current issues with the CW guys and I'm sure we will make a more comprehensive on the status and plans in the near future. In very simple terms, I can assure you they are fully aware and working hard to resolve the situation.
Great news, Alex. Congrats on your impeccable taste.
I reckon you should.![]()

Re: C65 Trident Diver SH21 Limited Edition
Top notch Richard.
I was hesitant about this watch when it first came out and thought that there was maybe one subdial too many within a smaller case (compared to, say, the C8 PR), but having now seen it in the metal my hesitation has gone.
A great piece. Congratulations.

A few wrist shots...

Interesting to note the appearance of (what I think of as) a "European" 7 on the date wheel...

Can't say I can recall seeing that on a watch before - although I'm probably wrong.

I like the old style 7 for the date. Is this style chosen on all of the CW vintage inspired diver designs?

One of the things I like about Oak and Oscar is their use of that 7 - the version I always use when writing the number.

I didn't think that the 7, with a horizontal dash, was an old style.A1soknownas wrote:I like the old style 7 for the date. Is this style chosen on all of the CW vintage inspired diver designs?
I have always thought of it as being a Continental Europe style, having first come across it in Denmark and Germany.

I concur with this....but I've never seen this style used on a date wheel but then most of my watches are from a major Japanese watch brand...Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 4:30 pm

I started using the “French” style numerals at school when I found it annoyed the maths teacher!
Love it!

Love it!

Outstanding new addition Richard and appreciate the stellar pictures! The Euro/Scandinavian 7 treatment is first I’ve seen on a watch’s date wheel. I like it’s use.
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

Wondering how the rotor and movement are arranged/decorated behind the caseback?

I can't recall ever seeing a picture, or description of the finish, of the SH21 movement in the C65 LE but this is what it looks like in my C60 Apex.KornSaksakorn wrote:Wondering how the rotor and movement are arranged/decorated behind the caseback?

Hope CW will also unveil C65 Apex (SH21 auto) with transparent caseback in the future.

Unlikely, as CW's stated intention has been the Apex Model is the pinnacle of each of their ranges; Motorsports, Dive, Aviator and Dress.
Thus the C60 Apex covers the dive category and the C7 Apex, of last year, the Motorsports.
Aviator Apex is slated to be appearing sometime within the next year, I believe.
