C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
So I am waiting for c60 and have taken delivery of the c65.
One will go back, but which one?
I really like the c65 with the blue dial and looks a quality bit of kit. But it is over £700 more expensive than the c60 and I am struggling to justify this. I know it is a le and has a better watch movement but not sure these are that important.
I also think that with the c65 bronze, the sh21 struggles to be worth £400 than that too.
So I think I shall wait to both are in hand before one goes back.

Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
IMO I would compare C65 Ombre’ Bronze vs C60 Bronze. Both are using the same standard automatic movements. The C65 SH21 LE is much more expensive for the second hand complication and in-house movement. TBH I have the C60 Bronze and I love it very much. The deep blue is so beautiful when combining with bronze minute, second and hour hands.

Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
Its like many things especially watches - you pay more and more for marginal improvements over the cheaper option. Is it worth it? Only you can decide that. For some the CW quartz range gives them the 'same' watch at a lower price for others we see no value in the quartz. Similar applies for the SH21 I guess.
Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
So I finally have picked up the other one from the post office. They are quite a nice contrast

I don’t like bronze so I’d take the C65 because it looks less...bronze.

I'd keep the C65. To me, the bronze bezel on the C60 looks a bit much...

Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
with the C60 you certainly get your moneys worth of Bronze! it is raw looking too, so it does look a bit bling perhaps, i quite like it like that! the returning packaging came today as well....
I wonder when the new bronze trident will be dropping, and if it will do anything to the C60 prices / future discounts etc

Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
I'd keep the C65, not on the rubber strap though, that looks wrong.
Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
it came with that blue rubber strap. i did the offer thing and got the distressed leather one as well for it, but the blue one has the older difficult to change over strap.
Re: C65 sh21 bronze v c60 bronze
well the c60 went back today, but when i got to the post office they charged me to post it (£11) i went home to check, but there wasn't any postage labels etc. the plastic envelope had the address etc on it. is this now common practice?

I had that problem too when I went to one PO with them trying to charge me. Went to another and pointed out the Licence Number above the Special Delivery label and the two women there had a discussion and decided they could process it using this Licence Number. I did email CW who advised me that if I had to pay they would refund me the costs.

So I went to buy a watch, and the man in the shop said "Analogue." I said "No, just a watch."

I love the sh21, so I'd stick with the 65 on this occasion I think...
