The trick seems to be to find a point where it’s not at a usual firmness but not so loose that it spins about on your wrist, sometimes I can find a sweet spot where it feels loose on my wrist but because it’s stiffer than most straps it will stay in place.
Same for me. One hole is too tight, one is just a bit too loose, but still way better than the tight position. Maybe more holes / less space in between them would solve this.

Also I think the strap is a bit stiff. It's kinda hard to put the end through the loops (dunno if loops is the correct English word here, but I guess you know what I mean).

Peacecamper,

I completely agree with what you say about too tight too loose, and the stiffness.
And like you I find the looser position better than too tight.
Maybe the promised new one will fix things?
Still that doesn’t help those of us with the current ones.

As you say the stiffness of the strap causes undue strain on the loops, (I think the proper name is “keepers”), indeed one of mine snapped of after very little use, due I believe to just this problem.

These pictures confirm a complaint I've read a few times about the C65 41mm: Too much dial space up top. Even with the Twin Flags logo I think there's dead space there. It's still a great looking piece but I believe 40mm and below is the sweet spot for the format CW have chosen. The new Trident Mk III has it down perfect. :)

I don't mind the free space, most of the time at least one hand is in the upper half anyhow.

Potential solution to the too tight or loose situation, is to find a buckle that is longer than the standard CW one.

Switch the buckle on the strap, uses a spring bar, and you get the length effectively midway(ish) between the holes, when using the standard buckle.

Guy,

That’s a great idea, I hadn’t thought about doing that, it should solve the problem for people who need an “in between holes position”.
I need to get looking for different buckles now to see if it helps me, Thanks for suggesting it,

However it doesn’t address the issue of the strap being excessively stiff and “digging” in on the wrist, nor the issue of it being so stiff it strains/breaks the nearest keeper, perhaps that will be sorted when the new version you mentioned in another post arrives.
I hope so because I think the Hybrid strap looks great, (especially with the c60 trident elite), in blue & orange.
