Staring into the C60 Abyss
Staring into the C60 Abyss
CW has introduced a new C60 variant.

I wonder if a bracelet would eventually materialise.

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
It looks good but it's not for me. Having to look at my phone to tell the time would be a bit embarrassing if I also had this on my wrist. I'm sure my bad eyesight is partly to blame but these days I do value legibility much more than I used to.

I’m not too bothered about the watch, but the strap looks like an interesting move into additional colours for the hybrid straps. That read and black combination looks very appealing.

You would need to have a touch in your pocket just to help and tell the time?

I found the previous Stealth version of the Titanium Mk2 difficult to read so this one wouldn't be any good for me either. A nice design for anybody with decent eyesight though.
Interesting that it has a grey name logo at 9o'clock when that was 1 feature on a proposed FLE mock-up that wasn't allowed to go through to the decision stage.

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
I like it. It's different. And I think the beveled edges of the hands will still make it quite legible.
I'm hoping there will be one to inspect at the Bristol GTG, so I can see just how legible (or not) it really is.

Ditto...I’ll reserve what I suspect will be the inevitable judgment.

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
If the other brighter Pro 600 models represent the yachts of the Trident family, then the C60 Abyss is the sleek submarine gliding under the ocean’s surface.
Not a LE as far as I can see - I can't see this being a mainstream model for long. Not for me I'm afraid.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

I'm afraid I just don't get stealth watches...

The fact that it is only available in 42mm indicates that size is still outselling the other two sizes.
I thought that the 40mm case would outsell the 42mm case.

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
Not sure that's true. I imagine there's quite a big lead time on new models coming through so this would be been designed way before any 40mm models were available

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
AFAIK CW have already stated that the black 40mm C60 is the biggest seller of the new range.
Makes me wonder why they bother with something like this and not produce other colours in the 40 though.

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss
I haven't been moved by any of the new CW watches for a while now, but this one got my attention as soon as I saw it. That red and black/dark grey combination. I also like that the end of the hour and minute hands seem to strand out just a little more due to the beveling, as you can see in this image.
