All fairytales have a happy ending .. GMT 600

Post by Toph » Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:12 am

Well after a very unflattering start to my Christopher Ward experience (please see previous thread)
The watch was shipped on Friday and arrived today in Australia. They kicked into gear big time.
Unfortunately by the time I got it home it’s dark but still wanted to share some pics of this beauty
It’s a cracker. The light catcher case is superb. The detail, bevelling and lines are sublime.
Finishing is really well done all over the watch
Date sets easy, Gmt hand is aligned
The dial and bezel have been expertly executed
Crown not quite the same par as many of my other divers but it’s not bad
Not sure why used black for date window but it’s hard to notice really. Should be blue or white
Haven’t run a loupe over it but no obvious flaws

Anyway here are some quick and dirty pics in different lights. So far very pleased

Cheers

Looks great. The strap is a perfect match.

That is lovely. A few sunshine shots when you get a chance would be terrific. Congratulations.

Great looking watch. Congratulations. Looks wonderful in the spring sunshine.

Are you anywhere near a beach? We love seeing watch photos from an Australian beach.

On another note (to the OP) congratulations on the very, very nice GMT C60. It’s a lovely blue, nicely highlighted by the contrasting GMT hand.

Welcome to the forum from a little bit further north on Qld’s Sunshine Coast. Hope you stick around for a while, maybe we can convince you to buy another CW ... and another... :)

Thank you! I’m already considering another lol, but the hassle I had with the customer service still frustrates/bewilders me.
Apart from that the watch is very impressive and great value.

Can’t believe you actually have 30 CW -now here’s a tough question , what’s your favourite ?

Cheers

Not tough at all actually :) It’s this one - my burnt orange C60 LE Kingfisher. The dial changes drastically depending on the angle of view or the ambient lighting. Some examples...
