Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Post by Kip »

Minimum production run will be 25 pieces and probably limited to maximum 50 pieces (subject to level of interest).

We can get an applied device i.e. the Twin Flags, at 12 but there will be NO Logo changes or moves; so please don't ask.

We can alter the dial print (not the logo).

We can determine the case back engraving.

We can only pick one size and one model.

#1 Midnight Blue PVD case. Never before done by CW

#2 Smoked Dial (think C1 Moonglow) with Device imprint.

#3 Red minute markers and date surround.

#4 Ceramic bezel - Charcoal and like a silvery graphite... Yes a 2 tone ceramic bezel!

#5 Ceramic bezel - Charcoal and like a silvery graphite... Yes a 2 tone ceramic bezel!

Sizes available (one only)

Trident Pro 600 - 38mm, 40mm or 42mm
Trident GMT 600 - 38mm or 42mm

Pricing;-

Current RRP is…
C60 MkIII - strap £ 695 ($795)
C60 MkIII - bracelet £795 ($910)
C60 MkIII GMT - strap £895 ($1020)
C60 MkIII GMT - bracelet £995 ($1135)

Estimated pricing for the FLE, as in previous years, will be about £75 ($100) over stock i.e.

C60 MkIII FLE - strap £ 770 ($895)
C60 MkIII FLE - bracelet £870 ($1,010)
C60 MkIII GMT FLE - strap £970 ($1,120)
C60 MkIII GMT FLE - bracelet £1,070 ($1,235)

Voucher codes, again as in previous years, will not be applicable but 0% Finance (UK only) will be, subject to usual T&Cs.

If enough interest we must decide on model, size, applied twin flag device or not, dial print and case back print. I would like to hear your thoughts, suggestions to see if it is worth pursuing FLE #8.

No time frames or purchasing guidelines have been established. This post is to determine interest, model etc...

What would you like to do?

Number 4 in 42mm for me.

However, I love the dial on number 2.

I’d be interested in any apart from #3, with a preference towards the blue case

Edit: Forgot to put sizes - 40 or 42mm no problem, wouldn’t be interested in any at 38mm

Preference for 4, 5, 2 in that order.

40 or 42mm but not 38mm.

I probably wouldn't nice looking watches but the GMT at around £1000 isn't something that would appeal to me.
There are so many opportunities these days to get a watch at that price point in a sale or at a discounted price.

I guess for me I just wouldn't pay full price for anything anymore.

All that said a red faced watch would be interesting, the current range has enough blue options.

Yes
5, 2, 1, 3, 4 order of preference.

Why not link this with the CWE Facebook LE, more likely to get the required numbers?

Number 4 in 42mm.

Would not consider any PVD versions.

Number 3 would be second if there could be a red second hand, otherwise number 4 all the way.

It's a definitely possible from me! I really like #5. 38mm might knock me out and I'd push for applied flags at 12, but If things go the right way. I'd say yes.

Another potential vote for number 4 in 42mm. A nice ceramic bezel diver is on my radar.

There are many aspects of #3 and #4 that I like. But for me to buy a watch at that price point, or higher, I tend not to compromise on any aspect of the design. Therefore none are watches I would buy.

What would be the interest in an ETA COSC version? As only 25 are required would 25 people be willing to shell out the extra? #1 or 2 with COSC ETA, twin flags and hybrid strap in 40mm could be something really special in my opinion if done right.
