Think we had also Trident - GMT as some preference but for me personally both automatic - gmt or trident - gmt would be fine.

Regarding the overall design for me personally version 5 is definitely the winner.

This is CW's standard.

Automatic - GMT
600m/2000ft

We have as proposals

1.

Trident
600m/2000ft

2.

Automatic - GMT
600m/2000ft

3. (My personal favorite)

Automatic
600m/2000ft

FLE - GMT

4.

Automatic
600m/2000ft
GMT

5.

Trident - GMT
600m/2000ft

KIP - did you mean to print the words Automatic and Trident in lower case ? These should be in capitals as the CW standard uses capital letters, e.g. AUTOMATIC ?

So the wording options should be TRIDENT, AUTOMATIC - GMT, AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC and TRIDENT - GMT

It might look like I'm being pedantic here and people might assume you meant capitals but if I received those options as part of the final specs I would produce what was typed.

My first choice is #2
my second choice is #5
Don't really care about the words so would go with the majority.

I know I have put in my 2 cents on this design, but after serious consideration, Steve's "On the trail of the grail" topic has me reconsidering, so I will sit this one out. :( Great looking watch tho. Good luck to all involved. Can't wait to see actual pics.

The choice of hands I prefer is option 3 or 4, my least favourite is the all red second hand. However whichever is chosen as the final version, I would still buy it.

Text, I would prefer it not to say FLE on the dial, but again none of these options would stop me going ahead.

On the text options, my main concern is that I don't think 3 lines of text looks that great, so would prefer any of the 2-line options. #2 is my favourite but it would be nice to have "FLE" in there somewhere if possible.

On the sweep hand, any of the black and red options look good to me.

On the GMT hand, I really think the base part should be white, for the "invisible" look.

Put FLE on the back, there's already a lot going on across the dial...

My preferred design is #5 with text #4 (as illustrated in design #5).

I also feel that FLE branding should be on the exhibition caseback.

Will there be another confirmatory poll to determine these final(?) preferences?

I think I’m edging towards #3. If find odd numbers of things more pleasing so three lines. Also if the standard is two lines this is another way to make it different.

I was thinking I might prefer Trident to Automatic but as everything else relates to the ‘spec’ Automatic seems to fit. But this is not a ‘toys out of the pram’ decision.

The case back will state "FORUM LIMITED EDITION 2020".

Before you ask about the date it is unlikely that this will arrive prior to year end.

If there are any more suggestions regarding the dial print, let's get them in now as I will be putting up the vote on Sunday.

That's great news! I've positioned this with the Finance Director as my special 50th Birthday present so if it had 2019 anywhere on it I'd find myself in trouble. (I'm still hoping 50 get made and I can snag my birthdate/50 as my serial number)

Downside: My birthday is in June so I won't be able to even see it until then...so selfishly...the later the better. (but not beyond June!)
