If it was mine I would want it refurbished, simply because the watch won't be seen at it's best otherwise.
I guess it depends on the cost of that.

I’d Cerakote it! Preferably in some form of green/grey to bring out the hand colour.

You could make it into something really unique.

It was cheap, why not use it as an experiment....

Definitely looks better in your shots than those from the seller!

I had been thinking along those lines but the wear is just too smooth and even.

However, my yellow dial C600 is a good bit more bashed up. That, on balance, may make a better candidate for Cerakote.

I think it has a nice look to it so I'd say leave it as is Guy.
Congratulations on a great pick up mate !
I agree. I like the weathered look. It gives an air of distinction.

Nice catch Guy. I think it looks great as-is. As you say, the wear is very even, and the case looks to be in good condition. It has a nice patina to it, and I think the style suits a little wabi. There are certain watches (this one, SKX and Speedy's come to mind) that just suit some honest and hard won wear, especially on and around the bezel.

That looks bloomin' nice to me.

I have the perfect black leather strap with lime green lug stitches which Sandra Visser made for me: I need to find a green & black C600!

It's just part of the watches history and it makes a great beater watch. If it has a good heart...the outside doesn't matter so much. In another 11 years or so the tritium will have gone dark, but again just more history.
