Wait, oh too late.....

Post by 0uatiOW »

Thought I’d reset my bronze C60 a little. Started with 1 drop of lemon juice on a cotton bud, and thought “that’s not enough”. Added another, a quick squizz over, focusing on the bezel markings, then gave it a rinse and a polish. Hugely underestimated how much was needed, but quite pleased with the result and happy to know that I’ll be able to have another go in a few months. Swapped Erika for a Watchgecko vintage leather and here we are:

I've been waiting for someone to do this! Every so often I look at mine and think 'shall I take it back to original' then worry I might mess it up so glad it seems to be an easy process.

Real easy. If it takes 5 minutes you’re overdoing it. Still happy with the partial patina, and knowing it will do its own thing again quickly gives me something to look forward to in a few months.

Haha good work. I managed to get a splash of lime juice on mine whilst making g&t and it left a very noticeable splodge on it. I'd share a photo but I think it's lost in CW towers.
