Absolute tosh. Here we go again. The guy posted it on his LinkedIn account, so why the hell can't it be repeated on here. Do we all need to sign NDAs in the future?

I agree, Forum Thought Police strike again!!
As Chief of the "Forum Thought Police" I am in full agreement with the actions taken by and the reasoning for them by the Admin Team in my absence. I just thought I would let 50% of the population know.

For once, I feel sorry for the mods on this one. They are in a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' situation with this one. For me, I don't see too much of an issue with what was posted, however I also see the why the mods did what they did. No win situation there for them. Who'd be a mod hey?

Aaaah, fluffy towels, quilted paper and l'Occitan soap! :D

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

Quilted paper?
I can see the attraction. Makes it all worthwhile!

Anyone can post what they like about themselves - and they are in control of it. However, if, in the future, he decides it was maybe not the best idea he's ever had and chooses to remove it, that's also up to him. When it's on here, he loses control. I'm just trying to help him.
If you think that anyone is in control of anything once they post it on the internet, boy, are you confused.

Maybe you misunderstood what I wrote. It's pretty simple. I removed his full name (forename and surname) to avoid THIS being the place where a potential employer reads about the former CS managers reasons for leaving. I don't think that makes me confused.
