I heard words of caution about leaving auto watches on a winder long-term. I have taken some advice and use mine on a timer plug so it runs on and off during the day (8:00am to 9:00pm) and then rests the watches over night. That replicates my usual watch wearing habits and seems to work well for me,

This one only has one option. Rotates 1 hour, rests for 3 hours, either clockwise or anti-clockwise. Had it running now for a few days without any problem very quiet motor, only time will tell 😉
