I agree, I have a few cards that I keep active and use occasionally to keep that rating good. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have three credit cards that I use well, but always pay the monthly balance in full.

I would likely use the CW financing option if it was available to me which it isn't as I'm not in the UK.
Also we don't have the PayPal Credit over here either.

It's interesting to see people's approach and views when financing a time piece. When I purchased my tudor I took advantage of the 48 months at 0% finance option even though I had the full amount in cash. Primarily because I already had it in an account which was gaining a small interest so I thought why not spread the payment. It's like getting a small discount on the watch...

I used CW's 0% finance for my sole purchase from them and I wouldn't hesitate to again. It was very quick and easy and I was home within an hour of leaving for the showroom.
Regarding negative attitudes to finance I can see where people are coming from. However I don't buy things I don't have the money upfront for either, but I'll always finance it if it's available with 0%. The £1400 that was left in my account has made me much more than the purchase price of the watch since I bought it. Money makes money and I'll always pay tomorrow if I can. I don't notice the money coming out on a monthly basis and it's leaving me to ponder another purchase(probably not a CW) in October when it's fully paid.

Whilst 0% finance is still available for me it is a no-brainer option. As long as one is sensible enough not to overstretch oneself and go into debt (which I do understand can be easy with such finance offers) by the end of the agreement it is the way to go. Why let someone else have your money if they are willing to wait several months to get it without incurring any extra financial costs.

Cheers
