winding problem

Post by davdav »

hello, so I have a problem with the winding of my C5 malvern automatik MKII, it works only 2 or 3 turns and made an "click click" unusual after, I'm sure it does not go back the mechanism because I have left on a table without using it and it stopped after 10h.
I sent a message to the sav but waiting for their response I wanted to know if someone had already had this problem.
I put in video link or we hear the unusual noise.

Thought those who didn’t follow that: OP will keep us informed of progress but isn’t too worried as feedback about returns is generally very positive.

Hello, I see that in some cases CW takes a long time to answer the emails, according to you from how many working days must I renew my request?
I made a request for service and repair on Monday early afternoon.

You should have had an email response by now, maybe only saying something like "Thank you for your email, we will send a returns pack to you". If you have not heard by end of tomorrow morning I would contact them again.
Alternative direct email addresses -
robert.austin@christopherward.co.uk
katie.howard@christopherward.co.uk

They seem to be taking a few days to respond to emails at the moment. Sorry that I've not been able to write this in French.

Si vous avez besoin de la traduction avant d’envoyer votre e-mail, envoyez-moi le texte français par message privé. J’y répondrai.

the watch has finally been analyzed, more than waiting for its return

Thank you for your patience.

I am just updating you to let you know that the initial inspection of the watch has been completed. The watch repair is covered under the warranty and will be back on your wrist within the next 5-6 weeks.

I am aware that the process is taking a while, we are working hard to improve our aftersales care to you hence the slight changes. When the watch has had its repair you will receive an Back to Customer invoice (at zero charge) this means that the repair has been competed and the watch is going to the Quality Control department. When it has passed the watch is sent down to our Dispatch Team and there it will be scanned out. Once scanned you will receive an email with tracking information.

When you receive the watch back you will be given a Tech Report, this will explain what the issue was with the watch and what we did to repair it.

If you have any questions or queries please email me back personally.
