Spring 2019 promo codes

Post by nordwulf » Mon Jan 28, 2019 9:16 pm

Spend £500+ --> £100 off: 100SPRING19
Spend US$ 625+ --> US$ 125 off: 125SPRING19
Spend CA$ ?+ --> CA$ 170 off: 170SPRING19
Spend EUR ?+ --> €120.00 off: 120SPRING19

Valid until 31 March 2019

I guessed the upcoming codes and was lucky. I tried them and they all work. The £50 and £150 codes don't work.

The discount code seems to work when you purchase a sale/clearance item and an accessory which takes it over £500 minimum spend. So for example I added a C7 rapide from the clearance (£397.50 ) and a watch winder (£110) in the basket which totals to £507.50.when the code is applied it reduces it £407.50. So it's like getting a winder for free. It's a pity I don't need either. Maybe I should just get back to work....

I have noticed this working too as described.

Not sure if CW will allow the sale because no vouchers are supposed to be used with clearance items.

Do I buy a C60 600 now with the code, or wait and see how I feel about the new 40mm model...??

Was going to try it too, but the website seems to be down this morning? I wonder if the bug is being patched?

Or put one up on eBay, with the code visible, and to help the daft folk further, mention the code again in your narrative, with a price of £0.00! :lol:

This makes me want to post a similar listing with the actual code in full view in the pic, if not even highlighted, simply to frustrate people like this.

Why the angst?

These sellers might not even know that the codes dropping through their letter box are not exclusive. If one were given a transferable discount voucher that wasn’t needed, why not sell it?

Maybe it’s time for CW to issue unique ‘single use’ voucher codes? There was talk about rewarding loyalty at the Edinburgh GTG, unique voucher codes would achieve this. Generic codes then only to be used at sale time.
