I know I'm getting older and do get senior moments.....but has there been a name change to the C65 Handwind ?
I always thought it was called C65 Vintage Diver, but I notice on the CW website they call it the C65 Trident Diver.......
I know there was always a bit of confusion with the previous C65 Vintage 38mm.
So....another senior moment for Ferg or has the name officially been changed ?

Re: Question regarding the C65 Handwind
I always thought it was confusing having two completely different watches with such similar names.
Especially since the 'vintage' moniker is attached to the one that looks less vintage.
Here's a C65 Trident Vintage:
Here's a C65 Trident Diver: Don't think they changed the names since release.

Re: Question regarding the C65 Handwind
I posted a review that I’d found back on 3rd March last year from T3 and they refer to it as the C65 Trident Diver all the way through. Maybe it picked up the “vintage” monika in discussions on here and just became embedded in the language?
Steve.

Re: Question regarding the C65 Handwind
I’ve noticed in this forum and elsewhere the C65 Trident Diver sometimes being referred to as the C65 Vintage Diver or C65 Trident Vintage Diver. I first researched the C65 Trident Diver in July 2018 and purchased it in August of last year and do not believe the name changed as it was called the C65 Trident Diver when I first discovered it.
Perhaps CW is calling the new auto model C65 Trident Automatic because calling it the C65 Trident Diver Automatic would be even more confusing.
Best regards,
John

Thanks for all your responses.
It is what I assumed, as such it got a nickname and it stuck.

Re: *Now answered, Thank You* Question regarding the C65 Handwind
The C65 Trident Vintage was originally named the C65 Trident Classic Vintage. The Classic was dropped to eliminate confusion with the original C65's MK I and II that were named C65 Trident Classic.

I use "handwound" to reduce the confusion with other C65s.
