New Purchase-Is This Acceptable?

Post by Rebnats »

Excited to receive my C8 UTC Worldtimer today, purchased in the recent CW sale. However it was sent with a black strap and not the camel coloured one I ordered. Kudos to CW customer service they are now sending me the correct strap and as a good will gesture will let me keep the other with their compliments.
Great Service.
Now this is my problem: Upon closer inspection after removing its dial film, I find what appears to be a tiny blob of super luminover on the dial inside the glass crystal, near the date display at 3 o’clock. You definitely can see it especially when you know it’s there, I also looked at it with my magnifying loupe which attests to the lume material . Below is the best pic I can get with my camera.

Seeing as CW have been very helpful I am reluctant to complain further, however I know this is there and should not be on a premium over a grand watch. Your opinions great fully anticipated.

CW will set it right if you give them a chance. Send them a photo in an email and see what they say. Good luck

Yep CW will definitely remedy, either fixing the dial or replacing the watch.

It does shine a rather awkward light on their order correctness/checking process again though.

It is a little worrying that the watch must have been through a few quality checks already before it's accepted as a stock item. If it hasn't why not?

But as everybody has said CW will remedy the problem.

At least you’ll be able to show off the fault in the dark, should you ever need to!

Agree with others...NO it is NOT acceptable
I had a C60 Ombre that had, under close inspection, a spot of red paint under the glass and that got sent back straight away.
Couldn't fault Customer Services as they refunded me straight away
