C7 Rapide bracelet link removal

Post by nigelb001 » Sat Jan 05, 2019 5:21 pm

I was just about to remove a single link from the bracelet belonging to my new C7 Rapide Quartz and noticed that there are no direction arrows on the inside of the bracelet to tell you which way to push the link pins out. Now I've adjusted many bracelets over the years including older CW bracelets and with the exception of those with screw link pins, all had the direction arrows. Does this mean that it doesn't matter which way you push the pins through, or am I missing something. I have RTFM  but nothing there other than using the micro-adjust. Anybody know?

If they are the same as the Trident bracelets you can go either way - just don't lose the collar/sleeve

Aaah, they are collared. I should have known, hope they are less fiddly than Seikos. Cheers guys

Yes, less fiddly than Seikos.

If you're careful and keep the bracelet flat, the collar tends to stay in place in the centre link.
